We are pleased to offer you this truly beautiful, vintage, Art Nouveau large reverse intaglio glass pendant, complete with a newer sterling silver serpentine chain! The pendant is truly amazing, featuring graceful enameled lilac color lilies-of-the-valley flowers, and luscious green leaves, etched out of the back side of the thick oval glass pendant! Come to think of it, maybe these are lilacs, as they are lavender in hue, and aren't lilys-of-the-valley usually white? Whatever, their botanical structure is similar... The pendant is free of chips, cracks and scratches, and t is no wear to the vivid enamel ! The domed top glass is secured in a sturdy wrap-around sawtooth bezel, which is either silver or faintly gold washed...., and it has a nice large fan shaped bale from which it is suspended from the sterling 20" chain. The pendant measures 1 3/4" long, 2 1/16" including said bale, and is about 1 1/4" wide at the center point. It domes up 1/4", and the total weight for the pendant and chain is 19.8 grams. I acquired it with no chain, and added this one so you could wear it at once, but you can easily put the pendant on the chain of your own choice. ... and you could use the sterling chain, which is marked 'Tiffany and Co' for another pendant! The chain is well made, high quality, with a sturdy lobster claw clasp. The pendant is unmarked as to maker and metal content ( of the bezel); the chain is marked '925', ' Tiffany and Co.', ( !!!! wow, THE Tiffany??) 'Spain' , and also has a signature of some one on the clasp, looks like' Ken Pants'?? If the chain is from Tiffany's, i should mention that somew or at least add pictures of the marks, no wonder it's such a nice chain! So, while the pendant is made in the Art Nouveau style, it might not be that old. It's in lovely condition, and the chain is like new. Thank you for your interest!
