This is a large format 10-1/2" BY 13-1/2", 130 page LIFE magazine. It is in very nice condition with minimal signs of being read, no creases, wrinkles, markings or torn pages, no spine split, very sharp edges, just a few small common lines along the spine, very exceptional copy... Q: Why do your magazines looked tilted in the photos?A: I am not a professional photographer and this is the only way I've found to eliminate flash glare... Q: Can you take any more pictures of the magazine? A: Not really, due to the large number of magazines I have (2500+) it is very difficult to go back a take more photographs... Q: Why should I buy one of your magazines? A: Simply put, these are some of the nicest, vintage magazines you will ever find. They come from a private collection that has been in smoke free, dry storage for nearly 30 years! They have not been handled by dozens of people and for the most part, are free from damage, spine roll or missing pages unless noted in description above. In most cases, there is very slight wear but bottom line, they are among the best examples you will find... Q: How is this graded? A: Ebay has their own guidelines from acceptable to new. I really do not like their grading because a magazine can meet all the conditions of very good or better except maybe a small crease on the cover and then their grading would drop it to good. This is not a fair grading system. I am forced to use their condition values to list but I use them loosely. I will try to disclose any condition problems in each listing. for example, the condition from Ebay may say "very good" and in the description, I will note a minor crease on the cover because in my opinion, it is still Very Good even though it has a minor crease. These ar vintage paper products and there will almost invariably be some minor defects... Q: Why are you asking so much, I can find cheaper ones on ebay? A: See answers above. Also, I am including free shipping, by the time you add up all the ebay fees and shipping costs, I feel I am competitive considering their condition. Yes, you can find them cheaper but for some folks, condition is key... Q: Will you take less for it? A: In short, no. I feel my starting bid is the least I will take, if it doesn't sell, I may or may not re-list it with a lower buy it now price. Check back and maybe you can get it for less, maybe... Q: Is it going to look exactly like the photograph when I get it? A: No, the photo is of the actual item you will receive but in some cases, it will look better than the photos and in others not as good. Why? Because photographs can not show every imperfection, also, your monitor may be showing it lighter or darker than it really is. The photo is a great representation of what you will receive but it IS just a photo... Q: I won the auction, how soon will I receive my magazine? A: It depends. I ship Mon - Fri within 1-2 business days using Media mail. I am on the West coast so if you live on the East coast, it can take up to two weeks to receive your item! Q: Can I get it quicker? A: Yes, I can upgrade to Priority mail shipping at an additional cost, which, depending on your location, can run anywhere from $6.00 to $11.00. Just let me know at the end of the auction... Q: How will it be shipped? A: I will Poly bag the magazine and sandwhich it in a thick cardboard contaner, NOT an envelope. This will hopefully ensure it arrives undamaged... Q: It got damaged in the mail, now what? A: Since I am not including insurance in most cases, if it gets damaged in the mail, I cannot offer a refund. However, if you state you want insurance, I will include it at buyer's cost.
