1997 Happy Holidays BLONDE Barbie This is a Special Edition Happy Holidays Barbie. This is the extremely rare blonde version of this holiday doll that was only available to select members of the Official Barbie Collector’s Club (the club sticker is on the box). She is the 10 th Anniversary Special Edition doll issued in 1997 and her stock number is 17832. Barbie looks likes a beautiful Christmas present all wrapped up in ribbons and bows. Her red and white satin ball gown is heavily decorated with gold and white ribbons and lace. A golden brooch with a ‘ruby’ center is attached to the center of her white bodice. A wide piece of gold embellished lace runs from the brooch down the front skirt panel and to her hem. Her red satin over skirt is covered with delicate sparkles and red ribbon that is covered with more white and gold lace is gathered down the front of the skirt. The same red, white and gold ribbon forms her sleeves and ribbon ‘tails’ peek out from behind her shoulders making her look like a Christmas bow! Her long, blonde hair is pulled back from her face and worn loose and topped with a golden tiara with more ‘rubies’. Intricate drop earrings, a choker necklace and a ring match her tiara and brooch.
