Unique and rare, black Kit Cat Clock with glow-in-the-dark eyes and clock hands (minute/hour hand, not the paws). Eyes and clock both work great. Tail is missing. However, the tail holder still wags and doesn't appear to be broken, so a replacement tail should work fine with it. I don't know if this was made before or after they started adding bow-ties, but this one does not have one and has no sign of it ever having one.
Body and back are plastic. Plastic is a little worn, but no visible cracks and no major scratches on the front. Slight gap between the back and the sides in places, but it still holds on tight with no problems. Paint is in good shape except 1 claw on the lower-right paw is missing a little paint. According to the back, built by Allied Mfg. Co-Seattle, Wash. Model D3, C97023 (see picture of back). According to the manufacturer's method of dating clocks at , it was built in the 1950s ("If the back of the clock states "Seattle, WA" with a plastic back and has front paws it was made mid to late '50's."). However, below that on their History page, they indicate that a white model D3 with glowing eyes is vintage 1950-'54. I tried to get a picture of the luminous eyes, and clock-hands, but my camera didn't want to cooperate. Sold As-Is. Clock is currently working, but I cannot guarantee it will work when it arrives. Payment by Paypal only. Shipping to US only through USPS. If buyer is located close enough, I will consider pickup if arrangements are made before bidding.
