In the mid to late 70's the Hank Stram Raquetball and Health Club was the THE PLACE for exercise in Kenner, LA. Hank Stram was the head coach of the Saints, Dallas Texans, and Kansas City Chiefs. Mr. Stram is a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame. He resided in the New Orleans area, where he passed away in 2005.The bag is 18" long and approximately 10" in diameter.The gym bag and gym shorts were purchased at the Club in '77. I used the gym bag up until about 12 years ago. It is in remarkable shape. The only defect is a tear in the lining that separates the zippered compartment on the bottom from the main compartment. The bottom zippered part is for storage of a racquet. The use of the bag is not affected in any way.The gym shorts are a classic. They are also logo'd with the "Hank Strams Raquetball and Health Club". The elastic is still tight. The gym shorts have not been used for 30 years and are in remarkable condition.The colors are still brilliant on both pieces.
