This is a 7-day, NO RESERVE auction for a great Retro pearl necklace!

This lovely semi-baroque genuine saltwater cultured pearl necklace dates from the 1960s. All of the pearls are roughly 6mm in size, and the necklace is 24" long. This length is so easy to wear, as it doesn't interfere with any neckline style! The pearls are a soft cream color -- not yellow -- and with no discoloration. Some of the photos make them look darker than they are.

Semi-baroque pearls generally have nicer luster than round cultured pearls, due to thicker nacre. These pearls show rose, green, gold, and silver highlights. They have light spotting and irregularities for this type of pearl, but no dark spots and nothing seen in the wearing -- also not the distorted shapes or cracked nacre of cheap baroque cultured pearls. At normal distance they present as 'round,' but not boring!

The necklace clasp is 14K (marked) yellow gold, in a birds' nest style, set with two cultured pearls. It has a push-in tongue, and a safety clasp on one side. The pearls were just cleaned and restrung on white silk, and they hang beautifully! Ready to wear immediately, or give as a gift.

Why pay good money for worthless imitation pearls when you can have the real thing? BID NOW so you don't miss this great find! Note that the auction ends on Tuesday
