Hope I took enough pictures. Another auction find and of all places...rural South Dakota! Why those wild and crazy ranchers. Anyway......this thing works. The light does light up and the motor in the midsection that turns the little knob has been working. The little bar that runs through t seems to have a gear on it and I don't think that's all the way on the track...but collectors of these lamps would know exactly what I'm referring to and could make that a quick fix. Sometimes the bar turns...and sometimes not. Just don't know how to get it to do so all the time and I don't want to break anything. I know t must have been a skirt on at one time but when I bought it this was the way the lamp came...with that neato scarf drapped over the bulb. I believe that's a fire hazzard but I'm sure it was only t for decoration and to cover up...well....you get the idea. I took the bottom plate off so that I could take a picture of the motor because I thought that may be helpful to collectors. The bottom plate is marked DODGE INC. and I put it back in place. Lamp stands 18" high which does not include the bulb. I'll take that out and wrap it separately with the lamp when I ship it. I have made absolutely no attempt to clean this as I didn't want to damage anything. T is oxidation to places (see photos) but no breaks, cracks, splits or repairs
