My treasures have been used, and are in used condition.

Nuns Vintage Rare St. Christopher Germany Pocket Shrine

is vintage and very rare St. Christopher pocket shrine.

Made in Germany.

The front of the shrine has a car and reads ~ St. Christopher Protect Us ~ The back reads Germany. The size is 1 3/8" by 1/2".

Inside is a 1" metal statue of St. Christopher and Jesus.

When Christopher put the child on his shoulders he found the child was unbelievably heavy. The child, according to the legend, was Christ carrying the weight of the whole world. This was what made Christopher patron saint of travelers and is invoked against storms, plagues, etc.. His former feast day is July 25.

We were invited to a very special Nuns estate sale. She was a teacher at a Catholic school. She was loved by everyone that meet her. She left everything to the school she taught at. But the school closed at the end of this year. The Nuns asked me to find a loving home for her treasures. I feel very special to find loving home's for her treasures.

I believe many of these special treasures were giving to her over the years from her students.

This is a charming piece's for those that appreciate the older Catholic items.

This treasure is truly a beauty and belongs in a home w it will be respected and cherished forever.

Very special item for collectors of religious items.
