Up for auction this time is a plate and a figurine about a favorite Christmas Ballet - the Nutcracker. The plate measures 8 and 1/2." The back reads as follows: "Bedtime for Nutcracker" 1985 by American portraitist Shell Fisher. Fifth plate in the Nutcracker II Collection - the only limited edition series of its kind honoring the world's best-loved ballet. Plate #1307. Firing date 6-08-85, Firing Master S R. 1985 Pemberton & Oakes. The matching Figurine is about 7 and 1/2" tall. The base of the figure reads: "Clara and the Nutcracker" 1979. Limited Edition No.6344A Fine China by Viletta. It is bisque. T are no flaws. The halo ring that appears on my pictures of the plate are a reflection of light and not a flaw in the coloring.
