NW COAST or ESKIMO BONE FISHING LURE. PRE-1900

's an unusual older NW coast or Eskimo bone fishing lure , in fair-good condition with some surface bone loss. This object is fully incised with the look of a predator fish with a mouthful of teeth, also many incised lines along the entire body, however, this piece has gone through some surface changes and most of the original surface has flaked away so only faint incising lines can be seen on the body, the bone hook is tied on with old thick sinew and is stable. This object has never been stabilized with any glue treatment, and it probably should be to prevent further surface loss of bone or design. The lure is 8-1/4" long and 1" wide at the tooth area, approx 3/16" thick. Seller offers a 7 day return privilege for full refund, less shipping charges. I accept PayPal, money orders, for same day shipping, and personal checks which will need to clear before item is shipped. Buyer pays shipping charges of $5.75 US 1st class mail, insurance if wanted would be $4.50. International charges will depend on location, priority or express mail, insured only. Please check my other auctions and Native American objects in MY STORE , thanks and good luck. #2-1d(2)
