Welcome to Irek's Toys and Trains!Item Condition and DescriptionBuilt by Fujiyama and imported by Northwest Short Line in 1967. Somewhat hard to find model. Beautiful example of master craftsmanship from the Japanese builders. There is something about these high end Japanese-built models that just doesn't compare to anything else. They are well built and won't fall apart if you breathe on them. There is no glue used like in most of today's brass. It's all hand done and each model is unique, even if it is the "same" run or prototype. Nice patina to this model. Looks to be unused. Was purchased from the original owner and he stated he never used it and it has lived in it's box until now. Does not run. Well, it does, but it's got a gearbox issue or a drive shaft boot issue. I will take a look at it in the next day or two, but just wanted to get the model listed. As it is, if you are reading this and make the purchase before I can update the listing, you are accepting as-is. I will still look at it for you if I haven't done so before a purchase is made. All of the drivers are sprung. All of the drivers are flanged. Front coupler can be swung up and down. Model is not lighted. Has just a blank plate covering the motor in the cab. No detail in cab. Includes original boiler weight that is not installed yet and is still wrapped in original factory paper wrappings (includes screws for mounting). Original box is solid but has some minor shelf wear. Original foam was thrown away some time ago and the owner made a custom center foam insert. All of the original paperwork, advertisements, model/prototype information, etc is included. No other spare parts besides boiler weight. Yes, we combine shipping! Just make sure to request an invoice before you pay.Questions?
