NY RANGERS CLASSIC TBTC MESSIER JERSEY SIZE XL The NHL celebrated their 75th anniversary during the 1991-92 season, and part of that celebration featured the Original 6 teams wearing "Turn Back The Clock" uniforms during select games throughout the year. Mark Messier's first game as a NY Ranger was in Montreal where both teams wore their TBTC uniforms for the first time.Up for auction is a Messier Rangers TBTC size extra large replica jersey, fully customized with the exact lettering/numbering from that memorable season. The Rangers replica jerseys sold back then had rubber letters diagonally on the front of this jersey but THIS JERSEY FEATURES THE AUTHENTIC CCM'S JERSEY SEWN-ON LETTERING, NOT THE RUBBER LETTERS. All lettering and numbering was sewn directly onto the jersey and all are in prestine condition.It's time for me to gain closet space, and as a result I need to depart with some of my hockey jerseys. My loss = your gain. This jersey was worn just a few times and has been stored in a smoke-free home since originally purchased by me back in 1991. It has a couple of very minor material snags that were very common with this jersey material back then, but nothing that takes away from the look of the jersey.
