Extremely rare, ornate Nymphenburg china! Set of 8, reticulated dessert/luncheon plates. Each "one of a kind". A must for the serious china/antiques collector!!! NO RESERVE Insurance required! This is a spectacular, lovely set of very fine european (german) antique porcelain that would make a wonderful and most envied addition to your collection. The entire set is in pristine condition. T is barely any wear (only some on the goldencrusted rim), no cracks, chips, nicks or repair of any kind, which is truly remarkable cosidering the age... T are few very,very light, hardly noticable scratches on the plates. Each has a stunning ornate painting of flowers with raised and textured gold border. Each has a different design, handpainted of course. I'm not sure how old they really are, but as a child, I was told that they had been in the family for generations. They may be as "new" as early 1900's, or as old as 1840's. The marks and stamps date it that time-period.. I have tried to find out more about them, but only hit roadblocks... even Nymphenburg in germany could only refer me to the china museum t They guess middle of 1800's. They did ask for us to give it to them on loan or as a gift, but I've decided t is enough family stuff t; these get a new "home".
