NEW YORK NEW HAVEN AND HARTFORD RAILROAD COMPANY Platinum Blue pattern oval platter. Measures approx 8 1/2" long by 5 3/4" wide. Very fine condition with a few minor utensil marks in the center. No chips or cracks. Very ornate designed china. This was a controversial pattern & was not used very long by the railroad. Back marked BUFFALO CHINA R.F.J. MADE EXPRESSLY FOR NYNH&H RR CO FURNISHED BY THOMPSON AND WINCHESTER CO BOSTON.
