Attention: Retired NYSE brokers and specialists. Own a rare piece of New York Stock Exchange history! Manual display panels like this one were used on the NYSE trading floor on specialists' trading posts to show last sale information from pre-Depression times until replaced by computers on January 12, 1981. One such trading post is displayed in Smithsonian Institute in Washington DC. Was salvaged during transition to computers. I doubt that you will see any other of these panels for sale. Dials are all in working order. Back side has clips that were used to hold buy and sell orders, some of which are slightly bent. All metal construction. Shown with sample stock symbols which you could use or change to your own liking. Size: 31" Length by 7" high by 2 1/4" deep. Weight: approx. 15 pounds See my photo of similar board in actual photo of New York Stock Exchange trading floor.
