Up for Auction is ONE: B&O 'Chessie System' (GM 50) Diesel Locomotive , N Scale, Gold with Black lettering Manufacturer: Model Power GP-40 , Part #7500 Est. Year of Mfg. 1970's Power Supply: This is a DC Locomotive and it is NOT Recommended for use on DCC Layouts without DCC Conversion Couplers: Rapido Packaging: Locomotive is in the original box Length: 4 1/2" Width: 3/4" Testing: Do to the age of the trains we have, we test them (even the new ones) for function & preformance before selling. Test: This locomotive was track tested on 4/4/2012 & Functioned Properly at various speeds in Forward and Reverse. Model History: This locomotive came from the estate of a man who collected model trains for many years. This locomotive along with many other model trains and supplies where from a toy store that went out of buiness sometime in the late 1970s. His collection has been in storage until now. All trains and cars should be lubricated with fresh oil to increase speed and performance.
