This is an Antique O.M. Franklin Blackleg Serum Co. Veterinarian Syringe.

In 1916 O.M. Franklin developed the first Blackleg Vaccine. Blackleg was a deadly cattle disease in the mid-west and west. In 1927 they named his company The O.M. Franklin Blackleg Serum Co. Franklin was considered to be a Pioneer in his use of formalin in the production of clostridial and other vaccines. The Company was first located in Kansas, then moved to Amarillo, Texas. In 1937 Blackleg was dropped from the name. It is now known as Franklin Laboratories.

This Syringe is in great condition, and still in working order. It measures 6 inches long.
