K&O Toy Boat Motor Hard to find all metal 1960 40HP Model! Up for auction is a very hard to find 1960 Johnson 40 HP Toy outboard boat motor. This motor is in what I would consider good condition plus. The decals have yellowed with age as is typical but are complete as shown in the accompanying photos. The motor is missing a small mounting screw on the engine cowls left side as shown. I wouldn't think it would be to hard to find a replacement. The motor runs fine but is in need of new wires as shown. The biggest fault is a broken transom mounting bracket on the brackets right side. However having said that I believe it is an easy fix as the break is very clean with no apparent metal missing. It is shown clearly in the last photo. I would believe some metal cement and an overnight clamping will repair it to where it would be all but noticeable. There are also a couple of minor paint chips. One on the right side of the cowl shown and one next to a screw just below the 40 hp decal on the front of the cowl. The gold and black beauty ring around the cowl exhibits some very minor rub marks as shown. This is a difficult motor to find in any condition which is why I have placed a extremely reasonable $99.00 minimum bid on her.
Before bidding please check all the accompanying photos closely and place your bid accordingly. Thank you for viewing my auction.
