This Oak Gateleg Table was a buy from a farmhouse in Tunbridge Wells in Kent, w it had been well looked after and polished regularly so that it developed a beautiful patina. The owner's Grandfather had spilt some ink on the top, but it hardly shows now after so many years. The Barley Twist turnings are especially fine, the Oak used in its construction the best quality. I would date this Table to the 1930's. Condition Excellent. Small ink stain to the top. (See picture). Measurements With flaps up. 47.5" by 36". With flaps down. 17" by 36". Height. 29.5".
