Oak Mission/Arts and Crafts Style chairs. Set of 6 Direct from the 21 st Street Attic, set of six beautiful honey toned solid oak Mission/Arts & Crafts style dining chairs with Original finish and original brown leather seats. Made by the Badger Chair and Furniture Company of North Milwaukee, Wisconsin. A Google search didn't turn up much on the company but I'm estimating these chairs to be from the 20's or 30's. All six chairs are in exceptional condition aside from some of the joints being loose and the leather seats on two of the chairs are fairly worn. The photos illustrate the worst and the best condition of the chair seats. I found this exceptional piece at a Chicago Salvation Army Store and now they're ready to save you from boring, character-less mass produced furniture. If you're a collector of furniture of this style or era or if you just want quality and character for a better price these chairs are just what you're looking for. Buyers shall to pay shipping. I can do a Saturday delivery within the Chicago Metro area for $40. I will ship commercially within the US only. I have little experience shipping items of this size and I have found that the Ebay shipping options and calculators are not designed for large items. T are several options I have found for shipping of this nature but individual estimates would be required based on delivery address. Each chair's dimensions in inches are 17.5 wide, 19 deep, 39 high with a seat at 19 inches. For shipping I would box them in stacked two per box for three boxes total of approximately 22w x 22d x 44h and about 30lbs each. Please note that the automatically calculated shipping cost noted on the page is for one box only and must be multiplied by three for an acurate number. An estimate from UPS Ground from Chicago to LA came out the about $133 for one box so for all three it would be about $400. I'm sure t are cheaper ways to go. I'm open to your suggestion as well. See my other auction items for some other strange, interesting and odd stuff that's coming out of the 21st street attic. I don't even know what all I have packed up in t Thru I have bids for shipping a similar set of 6 chairs from Chicago to California ranging from as low as $90 to as high as $400 depending on the schedule, packing requirements and pick and delivery points.
