Ryan's Relics Auction's This auction is for a killer antique Mission/Arts & Crafts Stickley STYLE Oak Dining set consisting of a China Cabinet and Sideboard. My wife is standing next to them, so you can see how big this set is! This set is the nicest Mission set I have seen in a LONG time. It is in amazing original condition with original dark rich petina finish. The finish is not as shiny as it looks in the photos. I wiped off the dust and put a little polish on before taking the photos, so its the polish giving it that shiny look. This has all the original knobs in great condition. The knob on the china cabinet door and one or two knobs on the sideboard tend to come off when opening them because they are designed as a spring open knobs w you turn then and it unlocks the door, but they need to be reglued a little tighter. They are not broken or damaged at all, just need to be reset. The china has a single door with 3 shelves inside and a mirrored back at the top. It still has the original wavy glass. It is made extremely high quality and of very heavy thick oak. Has thick shingle style backing. T is a vener repair on the bottom right foot. A piece was damaged in transport (not by me) and been reglued with original piece. You will never see it unless you get down on your hands and knees and look specifically for it. The china measures 61 3'4" in height to top of back X 16 3/4" deep at deepest point and 56" long. The front door measures 24 3.4" X 51.5" in height.
The sideboard is amazing. It measures 38" in height and with the backsplash measures 42 1/4" in height. It is 24" deep and 72" (6 feet) in length. This has 4 drawers across the top (1 for flatware), and a small skinny drawer underneath. Then follows two cabinet doors and a deep drawer on the bottom. Then on each side t are 2 cabinets. This has a TON of storage. The top of the buffet is very clean and in great shape. It has a few marks and t on these pieces but VERY CLEAN for an 80+ year old original finish furniture set. It has been WELL taken care of. No major damage or marks. Just solid high end furniture. This set has solid shingle wood under bottoms and back. These pieces are Very heavy, especially the sideboard. This has the original paper label on the back, but cant make out the manufacture. Who knows, could be Stickley! This set dates to the early 1900's. I have some more photos upon request. He has done hundreds of pieces of furniture from me from my furniture store in Baltimore and has done a wonderful job. He is very professional, has a clean boxtruck, and takes excellent care of your items. For another quote, pelase call Wayne @ . He can do deliveries a much further away then Russell can. For further deliveries, I have not used yet, but have been reccomended to use TRC Trucking which can deliver almost all over the US. Please call for a shipping quote for them.
