Description This is such an unusual piece! I found this Oak Filing Cabinet in an Office just outside Taunton in Somerset. It has a sliding tambour front and an interior with a wooden divider which slides along on a metal rail. The Cabinet can be taken off the Stand if you want to use it on a table top rather than on the floor. I would date this unique piece to the 1880's. Condition Good. T is a small piece of wood missing from the side of the top. (See picture). T is a tiny sliver of wood missing from the tambour. The lock although in working order is a later replacement. Measurements Height. 27.5". Width. 23.5". Depth. 15.5". Height of Stand. 15". Height inside Cabinet. 10.25". Shipping/Collection . This item will be shipped via UPS Ground.
