I found this very unusual Oak Tudor Monk's Bench in a cottage in Wickwar in Gloucestershire. It is in totally original condition and has a very decorative linenfold panel to the front. The seat lifts up for added storage space and it turns easily from a Table to a Bench. These pieces don't turn up that often and I was happy to find this one. It has a lovely colour and the bun feet to the base add to its decorative appeal. I would date this very attractive piece to the 1950's. Condition Excellent. Measurements Width. 39.75". Depth. 20.75". Height as Bench. 41.5". Height as Table. 31". Height to Seat. 22". Shipping/Collection This item will ship via Greyhound Gpx at a cost of $126.80 including packing, handling and insurance. Gpx is a terminal to terminal service for pick up at your local terminal. Items exceeding 100lbs may be broken down for shipment. You need to open your package at the terminal in case of damage, so a damage report can be made immediately. Please notify us within 24 hours of any damage. A courier service to your door is available from most terminals for an extra charge. Please e-mail us for more information and a quote. A telephone no. must be included. Items will be packed and shipped within 14 days after payment has been received. Free collection can be made from our Idaho warehouse by prior arrangement. If not collected within 14 days then a storage charge of $10 a day will be charged. We will not release any items until chques have been cleared. We ship to the lower 48 States.
