Obsolete Chicago Police Uniform Jacket
This shiny, nylon jacket was removed from the uniform list about 15 years ago. Although no longer allowed to be worn by rookies, the old-timers still wear theirs. So to abide by ebay policy, the police patch was removed.
Very rarely seen on the street anymore, this was the style jacket up to the early 1990's.
This one is in very good condition. I do not see any holes or tears.
The last officer to wear this was a sergeant with at least 20 years on the job according to the patches. It is a size 42R.
It still has the patch of velcro when the radio receivers were velcroed to the shoulder. Now they have snaps.
Very nice piece of young memorabilia.
