This is a $5 Michigan note from the bank of Manchester it is double signed dated and numbered in ink. It is dated Nov 20, 1837 and #121 it is engraved by rawden, wright and hatch NY. Look at the margins carefully as they are irregular with left margin cut and chip missing on top left. Very detailed engraving including cows and pig vignette on right moderately circulated. This is a nice early note. This item is for sale by itself however we have listed a $10 and a $2 similarly dated for a matched set. All 3 on single page make for a very attractive eye appealing set of notes, Conside making an offer for all 3.
