Early badge from the Manhattan Project era of Oak Ridge, Tennessee also known as "The Secret City". I have been fortunate to acquire several badges from this time. This is a hat badge approx. 2 3/4" tall and is in excellent condition. It is embossed with USAEC PATROL SERGEANT. The USAEC stands for United States Atomic Energy Commision. Great chance to get an awesome example of a badge from a time gone by. This is an obsolete and defunct style badge that is no longer used. Thanks for checking out my auction.
