You are bidding on an obsolete vintage police helmet. The helmet is made out of hard material and was the type that officers would wear during a "code-3" run or during riot action. This is an older helmet that did not have the attachments for a face guard as they do now. This helmet is tan and black in color and was used by officers that wore the tan uniforms in the 1970's & 80's. The outside of the helmet is in very good condition with some minor scratch marks. The inside of the helmet is worn and is losing some of its rubber lining. The helmet comes with a black cover as shown in the photo. T is a police decal on the helmet but no indication as to what department is could have came from and t is no indication as to the size of the helmet. The helmet is apporximatley 13" long x 8 1/2" wide x 7" tall. Please e-mail any question at least 24 hours prior to end of auction. I do accept personal checks but the normal 10 day hold applies.
