The Heavenly Cloud Now Breaking . by Jean Lead. Originally published in 1681. This is the a reprint by John Thomson in 1897. Extremely rare book. Autho r: Jean Lead was an occultist who wrote several books, but "The Heavenly Cloud" is the best. She was a prophetess and began to have many visions of the future when she was left a widow at the young age of 46. Her father was a distinguished Norfolk Square in England. Several occultist men and graduates of Oxford University would join and meet with Jean Lead on a regular basis as she displayed her gift of divine revelation. Condition : The pages are in good condition and there are no marks on them. The string binding that was used is gone, but the pages still are bound together. The cover page is loose. It should be noted that Jean Lead's books are often pages that need to be bound because she would just write her visions down on whatever paper she could find. Today, scans can be found on the internet, but the majority of them are not accurate because a large amount of her visions were altered and never returned. Price: I already sold a first edition copy printed in 1681 that was appraised several times in the thousands. This book even though is a second edition, is still extremely rare and valuable like the other book. The person who purchased the first edition got a steal. I have read more
