For sale is an un-used 10-place setting of UCAGO porcelain dinnerware. (minus 1 bowl). Each piece was made in Occupied Japan and is without stain, chip or crack. The bamboo pattern is very attractive and will certainly enhance any oriental decor you may have. detailed description: 10 dinner plates, 10 cups, 10 saucers, 9 bowls (one missing in photo), 1 sugar bowl, one creamer & one saucer (for creamer). This dinnerware belonged to my mother-in-law since it was new and was individually wrapped when I recently opened the boxes. The shine on each piece is as it was when brand new. Since it is a place setting I prefer to sell it as such and not part it out, but money talks! Also, I reserve the right to sell this item locally and end this listing at any time. The information on the porcelain marking is as follows: UCAGCO actually means United China and Glass Company. Its offices were based in New Orleans and New York. Ucagco was primarily a distributor of dinnerware and glassware. They were the distributor of many Japanese china patterns during the early 1950's. United China & Glass Co. Inc., better known as UCAGCO, dating back to 1850.
