SOUVENIR OF CANADA playing cards OCEAN TO OCEAN ATLANTIC TO PACIFIC 52 views, Goodall circa 1905. This deck has 52 playing cards plus joker, list of views card and blank card in the original slipcase box. The card back features the eleven seals of the Canadian Provinces and Territories circling a Maple Leaf and beaver. There are lots of great scenes of Canada from coast to coast on the faces of the cards. The cards are in near mint condition with bright shiny gold edges. There are no damaged cards, but 3 cards as shown in the scan the Jack of Diamonds, 7 of Clubs and Jack of Hearts have what appears to be a bit of ink transfer on the faces. I feel that this occurred during the printing of the deck and was originally sold in this condition. Therefore my feeling that the deck is in near mint condition, not better or for that matter worse. The box is in excellent shape with edge wear and a slightly split seam and has a sample card is affixed to the side not seen in the scan. The deck is listed in THE HOCHMAN ENCYCLOPEDIA of AMERICAN PLAYING CARDS as SCA16. Please before you place a bid ask questions if anything in my description needs clarification.
