I always have a lot of good silver listed, all at low starting bids and low shipping, so please check out my other auctions! We ship within 24 hours of confirmed payment and are always happy to combine multiple wins to save you money on shipping. This is a very nice large antique solid sterling silver server with an unusual goldwashed, beaded edge notched blade and a delicate filigree handle. I looked through my books and couldn't find what kind of server it is, nor could I find a pattern name. If anyone knows and would care to share, please email me. Possibly a croquette server? It is in very good condition and looks to have seen little wear, with a little light scratching. Maybe the previous owners didn't know what it was for, either! It is about 7-3/4" long and the flattish bowl/blade is about 2" across the widest part. No monograms or other engraving. Any shadows or off-colors on the item are reflections or camera flash. It is marked "Sterling" with the old H in a pennant hallmark for Watson. It weighs about 46.2 grams or 1.63 ounces on my digital point scale. PLEASE EMAIL ANY QUESTIONS! RETURN POLICY: If, for any reason, you are unhappy with an item you have won from me, I have a no-questions-asked full refund policy. If I missed something in the description, please don't assume I am trying to misrepresent an item; I would never do that. I am only human and do make mistakes occasionally. Item must be returned in good condition within 14 days. In the case of items with more than one piece, we accept the full lot back, no partial lots accepted. Any white or other off-color spots are camera flash or reflection. Please bear in mind that color can vary from monitor to monitor. SHIPPING within the US $5.00 Priority Mail in a box, insurance required.Shipping by International First Class airmail to everyw else is $8.00. International Priority rates are below. Insurance may not be available to some locations. Combined shipping: I will be happy to combine shipping on any two or more items you win from me. You will get a good discount on shipping for buying more than one item. PAYMENT : We accept Paypal, money orders and checks drawn in US dollars, which may be held for clearance. Within the US, we also accept Visa and Mastercard through our merchant account. Payment is due within ten days of auction close! If you want to pay some other way, please email us. I almost always have a lot of good antique and vintage flatware, souvenir spoons, sterling scrap, coin silver and other items listed, so, if you care to, please click on "View Seller's Other Items" above, and bookmark my seller id under "favorite sellers" in your My Ebay for future reference. In fairness to all bidders, I will not end an auction early. I know I have probably lost money with this policy over the years, but I sleep better! If the winner of this auction would kindly respond to my after-auction email within three days, it would be greatly appreciated. It is important that you contact me, especially if you are mailing in your payment. Some new spam filters are blocking emails from me and Ebay, so if you don't hear from me within 24 hours after the auction, please contact me. Thanks for looking! A knowledgeable Ebayer has suggested that this may be an ice cream knife or server.
