Possibly Greensboro NC There is a Forbis Street in NC, ID and other states, according to Google. 2 (Two) Vintage original 1950s Salesman's Catalog Sample advertising business cards . > These are not "RPPC"-style real photo cards, but halftone B&W printed images. Size: 2.125" x 3.5" Images: Views of up-to-date Buick, Pontiac, Chrysler & Plymouth dealership buildings. 1950s autos in the showroom windows, in the used car lots and on the streets. Backs: (See scan). Descriptive text. Pen and pencil marks. Publisher/Printer: Unknown. These are from a series of business card printing company salesman's samples I recently found. I'm not sure if these are actual businesses or fictional, but most look real. All have glossy halftones on the front, and a small 6-digit number sometimes corresponding to a penciled or inked note on the back. Some have factory rounded corners. Condition/Notes: EX (near mint).
