Sorry for the late night listing but I just finished wathing my Ohio State Buckeys win on the road at Purdue. we have a very nice Paleo "or Archaic at the latest" Triangle that features snow white color and is a very large piece for the Point type. I recovered this very fine Triangle Point right in Ross County , Ohio in a sand bar along the banks of the Scioto River. The reason I feel that it's likely a Paleo piece is the fact that I recovered it from an area that has been known to produce a large number of Paleo Points in the past. T is no damage to speak of and I would consider this piece to be in G 10 condition. Reluctantly I'm forced to part with some of my better personal finds and some of the nicer pieces in my collection in order to take care of some unexpected bills. I'll start the bidding out at only $9.99 and no reserve price! This is an authentic specimen that will be a welcome addition to any collection of Indian Artifacts. Type = Paleo Triangle This Artifact does not carry a COA "Certificate Of Authenticity", therfore I'm listing it in the Flint Knapping catagory to be in line with Ebay rules and not run the risk of having the auction pulled early. However I'm an avid Artifact hunter and collector so many of the Artifacts I list on Ebay have been recovered my me or I've obtained them from friends and/or family whom personally found them. If I don't find an Artifact or have not purchase it from someone I personally know, I preform a very thorough examination under magnification to determine that it is in fact an authentic Relic and to be certain t is no re-chipping present. If I find that an Artifact is not authentic or that it exhibits any re-chipping what so ever I will clearly state my findings in the description. I have been hunting, buying and selling Artifacts for over 15 years so I know what to look for when determining if an Artifact is in fact authentic or not. I know many folks swear by authenticators but the truth is any of us can call ourselves an authenticator as t is no schooling or training of any kind required to become an authenticator "one just deems him or herself and authenticator and that's that". So I can't see paying someone $25-$30 to give me a piece of paper reporting to me what I can tell myself for free using nothing more than my own time and expertise. I know that in my 15 years of Artifact collecting and dealing I've handled many 1,000's of Relics from all over the United States and trust that my opinion is just as good if not better than the next guy or gals. Furthermore please note that each and every piece I sell is legally obtained and never recovered from Grave or Burial locations. I offer the following guarantee on all Relics I sell. "The winning bidder may return this or any Artifact purchased from me for a full no questions asked refund less shipping and insurance costs within 14 days from receiving said Relic". For those of you who wish to have an artifact purchased from me authenticated, please click on my about me page to learn about the authenticators whom opinions I accept.
