I have had this oil lamp in my possession for probably 25 years or so, after purchasing it at a small antique shop in Falmouth, Ma. The lamp stands 14" high total, of which the globe is 9 ". The bowl w the oil goes is about 6" across the top, with the base being 3" across, The fitting that holds the wick is made of brass, and screws into the oil container. The wick being 1 1/2" wide. I see no markings on the glass itself, but on the small wheel that moves the wick up or down is written "M.B. Co. N.Y. #3 Arctic". T are absolutely no chips, cracks. or crazings in this piece. It is very clean, and comes from a smoke free environment. Also included is a wrought iron cradle that the lantern fits into so it can be hung anyw Buyer to pay priority shipping with insurance highly recommended.
