Probably circa 1970, Carlos Ruiz had a contract to supply work to AAron Brothers. Well known and well listed, he painted in his native Colombia, Mexico and southern California. This piece is one of those. Measuring 8x10", on paper, mounted to cardboard. Features a young boy carrying his baby brother or sister on his back, and is quite charming. Painting signed lower right. In good condition, stable, without chips, or flaking of the surface. In it's original AAron Bros. ready made frame, it warrants a re-framing. I have another piece I am selling and will be happy to combine shipping for both pieces. Great in Southwest, Monterey, or other Latin decor, as well as household with a mid century modern feel.

THE SMALL PRINT STUFF.......Due to evolving changes in eBay's policies, I have had to make some changes in conditions of sale, too. 1 . If you have fewer than 10 feedbacks, please do not bid on my merchandise . Problems with buyers are disproportionally with those new to eBay. Please don't bother. 2. All sales are final, due to the unique nature and condition of the materials I sell. I do my very best to represent the condition, type, etc of the materials I sell, and unless I am grossly negligent in that, it is your duty to read the description and accept the condition of the item being offered. Having said that, I do my best to satisfy my customers, and your satisfaction with the transaction is indeed my goal. 3. Unless you leave me feedback, or contact me through email, I do not know if you are satisfied or not. Please leave feedback if you are satisfied, THEN I can feel the transaction is complete, and leave positive feedback for you, the client. 4. I expect to be paid within a timely manner, and if you cannot pay immediately, please let me know, I will work with you, as long as I am aware of the situation. 5. Thanks so much, as I feel terrible having to impose restrictions, but have found it impossible to continue without a change in conditions of sale. .
