Along with this spectacular bird, the winning bidder will receive a matching Oiva Toikka egg which is worth at least $50.00! Oiva Toikka began designing his series of glass birds in 1973. During that time, Professor Toikka has designed well over 300 different birds and continues to renew the collection each year. Birds By Toikka are made by master glassblowers at the Nuutajarvi factory which was founded in 1793. Nuutajarvi is a part of iittala. Each glass bird is signed O. Toikka Nuutajarvi as proof of authenticity. Bird = 11" long x 4.5" wide x 4.25" high, Egg = 3" long x 2" wide The original boxes are included with your purchase.
