This is a 100% hand forged Iron Wrapped Steel katana sword. This katana has no blood grooves which leaves the blade stronger then blades with blood grooves, because t is not forged steel taken out. Katana features black leather ito and real ray skin same. This sword is full tang and can be fully disassembled. TANG SIGNED BY SMITH. Blade features Furu-Bushidoo Horse symbol engraved into blade. Same features bright orange lotus flowers. This sword is rated superior for tameshigiri and will also work excellent for those seeking a katana for Iaido training.
This katana comes with stand, sword bag, maintenance/cleaning kit, rubber mallet, and is all nicely secured inside black cardboard box. Blade Type: Katana Length: 27.75 inches. Shinogi-zukuri style blade. Blade Width at: Machi 1/4 inch Yokote 1/4 inch Sori: Tori, meaning curvature is at center of blade. Mune: Ihori, meaning back edge of blade is two sided. Hamon: Small Wave. Kissaki: Ko-Kissaki, meaning short tip. Nakago-Jiri: Pointed. Shape of end of Tang. Nakago Length: 10 inches. Length of Tang.
