*** SET OF SIX ***

This fantastic set of official STATE OF OKLAHOMA Collectors Edition Ornaments will make a lovely addition to your Holiday displays or Christmas Tree. They each measure approx 3" with the Capitol Dome being a bit taller than the others. They are a boxed set that has a black felt holder for each ornament and a ribbon hanger on each as well. These are HIGH QUALITY ORNAMENTS, nothing light or 'tin-like' about them. You will be proud to display!

The first photo you see is a stunning shot of Oklahoma's Beautiful Capital Building with the new Dome atop for your enjoyment.

This set is in a hard-sided black box that has a GOLD Embossed State Seal atop and inside the box is a large cardstock official description of each and every ornament. The photo you see was taken with the ornaments in this felt display box and the ribbon hangers are fixed thru the holder. The box could be placed upon a plate or picture stand for display or the ornaments can easily be removed to be hung on the tree.

The themes of each are outlined below and correspond to the photo starting on the left and jumping from top to bottom on each row. Each piece was made for individual years and was produced for the organization called "Friends of the Mansion" - They are truly Historic Oklahoma Treasures.

1997' Oklahoma Governor's Mansion Ornament -

Done for the 70th Christmas for the Mansion. It is a three story, 14,000 sq ft Mansion on 5 acres, just east of the State Capitol in Oklahoma City.

1998' Phillips Pavillion Ornament -

The most recent addition to the Mansion's grounds.

1999' Oklahoma State Flag Ornament -

The 3rd ornament designed for the series - Bold and striking.

2000' Oklahoma State Seal Ornament -

Fourth in the designer series.

2001' Oklahoma Mistletoe Ornament -

Features the Scissor-tailed flycatcher - Oklahoma's STATE BIRD along with a delicately enameled bough of Mistletoe.

2002' Oklahoma Capitol Dome Ornament -

For 85 years from its original dedication in 1917 until the fall of 2002, the Oklahoma Capitol lacked its crowning design element - A SOARING DOME. But as the state's 2007 Centennial approached, Governor Frank Keating brought this dream to a reality. It is topped by a bronze sculpture by Oklahoma artist Enoch Kelly Haney, and titled "THE GUARDIAN"

Again, this set will be a welcome gift for any displaced 'Okie' anyw! What a thoughtful gesture for you to bring to the Holiday Season of the lover of Oklahoma.
