Old/er woodcarving tool. Great collectible or put to use. Makers mark is very nicely (some fading) on steel: ERIK ANTON BERG ESKILTUNA SWEDEN with the shark logo. 9 3/8" length, 1" wide at edge, 4 3/16" of steel from edge to handle entry. Handle is Good, has some use. No chips, or abuse noted, is missing the butt ring and has fuzz. The steel is nice, no rust, needs just a hair of lapping, some ticks around the skirt which should fine sand well, overall I would rate this one as Good+ and Excellent with some cleanup. This is a serious tool for carving or any woodwork, arguably the best steel ever manufactured for keeping an edge. Many more years of use await this one. Great for your collection, put to use, carpenter, signmaker, woodworker, building, carving... Please check the pictures and email any questions.
