An old molding plane stamped on the toe "J. STEVENS - BOSTON" and "A.H." and on the blade "W. GREAVES & SONS". The plane is approximately 15" in length and the blade 3" in width. The plane is in very good condition showing moderate overall wear. I'm selling it just the way I found it but it does look to me (and I'm in no way an expert) like the wood was cleaned / waxed and perhaps refinished. A terrific antique plane! Buyer to pay the actual cost of priority mail shipment with delivery confirmation (figure 6.5 lbs. from 01370) PLUS the actual cost of insurance if the item sells for over $100.
