Up for auction is an early oil or kerosene lamp burner complete with old lipped chimney. Auction does not include the lamp. Large size to use on your table or parlor lamp, fits a number two size collar with 1 ¼�€ threads. The burner is No 2 size and is stamped “E. Miller & Co. Made in USA” on the wick turner knob and has a removable screen to make cleaning easier. Also included is a signed at the top “MacBeth Co. Pearl Top Pittsburgh USA” crimp top flared lip chimney, measures over 2 5/8” wide at the bottom and 8” tall. The burner and chimney fit and display together very well, they date as early as ca 1870s. Condition is on the set is great with no chips, cracks, or stains. The chimney looks about unused with some light scuffs/scratches under very close inspection. The burner looks to be unused and bright, and it displays great. This is a great early burner and chimney set for collection, display, or ready to turn and burn on your favorite oil lamp.
