This is an old (I'm guessing 1930-1940) Akro agate child's tea set that I believe is oxblood and lemonade. I'm no expert so you be the judge. The box is in poor condition and is being sold as is. It is intact with some vibrant color but someone used masking tape on it years ago and one corner at the top has 1/2" chewed off. It also has water stains on the inside of the lid. I accidently tore the flap that holds the teapot in place off so it is fragile. The box says "The Little American Maid Tea Set # 404 by Akro Agate Co. Clarksburg, W.VA. The dishes are all t but one cup is broken. It may be interior panel style, hopefully you can see by the picture what the pattern is. Other than the one broken cup the dishes are in very good condition. I don't think they were played with. T are 17 pieces in total: Teapot with lid is 4" high, diameter of 2.5", sugar with lid is 2" tall diameter of 2.25", Creamer is 1" 3/8" tall, diameter of 2.25", four cups are 1 3/8" tall, diameter of 2.25", four plates have diameter of 4.25" and four plates have a diameter of 3.25" The box has dimensions of 14.25" long, 12.25"wide, and 3.5" deep. Even though the box is rough this set is GORGEOUS! I request that payment be made within 7 days after the auction ends or I reserve the right to relist the item. I extend a return policy of within seven days from receipt if the item is not as I described or one chooses to return it for whatever reason. I am only shipping to the U.S. for now and will use US Postal Service Parcel Post, US Postal Service Prioriy Mail, or UPS Ground. The package will weigh about three pounds and is 15" by 13" by 10" in size. I can't get the shipping wizzard to work for me. Thanks for looking! Good Luck!
