Wow!!!!!!!!!! This is a simply spectacular vintage Alaskan eskimo made Whale bone and Sterling silver necklace. Circa 1940s...... It measures 28" long and the largest piece of whale bone is huge 3.5" long and 2" wide................. My father was a bush pilot in Alaska for 28 years, He flew people and supplies throughout the state. He often was given tokens of appreciation from the Elders . He was given this wonderful necklace for my mother by ( Betsy Oorunuck ) in Barrow Alaska..............I will include a photo copy of Betsy.
