Old Antique Cast Iron Church Bell Steeple Garden School This old bell came from the steeple of an African-American wooden church in southeast Arkansas that was torn down in the 1960's. It has a great clear tone from original claper. The bell is approximately 15 ½ inches tall, including yolk, and 15 ½ inches across the bottom. It weighs over 47 pounds. I have problems getting my pictures the way that I would like, but have tried to show the cast iron before and after removing the rust. I did oil the bell with vegetable oil to retard future rusting.
