Super Cute Antique Cookie Jar! Unmarked, bottom surface is very old. Think it is possibly an American Bisque or older McCoy. But cannot guarantee maker. Cannot find in my collector books, but know it is old, purchased at Estate Auction of Elderly couple selling off 100 cookie jars they had collected for many years! The lid fits loosely inside body, which many older cookie jars were made this way. Better loose than tight. Some cold paint wear, coral peach colors on ivory white base. Details are great, in good condition. On one side at start of her trunk t must have been a chip, it looks as though it was filled in and repaired, just never painted. Feels smooth to touch but can tell because of darker color? Otherwise, t are no chips or cracks, some crazing, not noticeable though. Just a nice old Heavy Antique Collectible! Any questions, please ask before bidding. She measures 12-1/2" tall by 10" wide at skirt area. Thanks for looking, be sure to check my other auctions items as well. Just wanted to add that shipping calculator should be used. the shipping costs that displays on item is for Express Mail and I can't revise this. Most it should cost is $15.00 priority mail. I won't charge more than $15.00 guaranteed or you don't have to pay. Also, I did not notice a small chip inside lid of head, w it fits into body, so want possible bidders to know t is a small chip t, can't be seen from outside though. But was so worried about checking the outside, I missed this chip. Outside is great other than what is noted. Thanks again!
