is an old black iron hanging oil lamp with milk glass shade and font. Looks similiar to the Lomax or Iron Horse lamps. I purchased this years ago as you see it, shade and font with full iron frame. T are a couple items missing, the glass chimney and a smoke bell. These items are easily gotten and not expensive. I don't know much about the lamp except that I liked it and planned to use it but the chance to complete it just never seemed to be at hand! Description...This light has a pull down feature for raising and lowering the lamp as needed. Size of the light top to bottom is 34" which can extend to 46" when fully extended. One of the photos shows the light partially pulled down. The font is milk glass as mentioned, and has nice swirls, shells, and bead designs on it. No chips or cracks, everything appears to be in order and just needs a wick and lamp oil. The shade, also milk glass, is a slant side shade with a 6" fitter flaring out to a 14" diameter. This is in excellent condition, no chips or cracks. The black iron frame appears complete, and in good old condition- a little bit of surface rust which can easily be removed. Pulley works good, a little stiff but you would be also if you were packed away for many years!
