Paypal preferred. SHIPPING IS $3.00. Some of these are doubles from previous auctions. I know nothing about photos! A friend came across some old Black & white truck photos. I am selling these for him. I'm selling twelve of them for this auction. I have more. I have already sold many of them in several auctions on , and received positive feedback, and repeat customers for them. They are from a truck company called West Rock Wagon & Auto Works Inc. They are from Connecticut. Some of the photos have an ink stamp of the back thats reads:Gilbert J. vincent Portrait Studio Suite 241 Hotel Taft, New Haven Conn, or may it say, Commerical Photo Service Co. 132 Temple Street New Haven Conn, or perhaps another studio name. Many of them are blank on the back too, or have notes in pencil written on them. They appear to be original and old. They appear to be 8x10's. They have not been trimmed. If a trim is apparent that is my scanner that did that. When the photos are on a flat surface they have a upward curl or curvature Horizontally, typical of old photos. In other words, it is not perfectly flat. In a frame it will be fine. Some of them have a stamp on them on the front that you can see if you look carefully of the company name on the lower left, or middle on the bottom. It is not an ink stamp. It is an impact impression. I was advised to sell them for at least ten dollars each but I will start the bidding at $84.00 to generate interest. I have more of these to auction later. I believe that West Rock Wagon Works designed the hauling portion for these company trucks. Some of the pictures are somewhat handled and some of the pictures have small creases, edge wear, small tears, dented edges, curling, corner folds, and minor stains typical of old photos, However, I think they are in good shape. These slight flaws (typical of old photos) are only for mentioned for the sake of strict grading! Hey, they are old photos right? Many of them have none of the flaws discribed! It's just a precuationary disclaimer given since not all of them are perfect! The photo images shown has not been retouched or altered in any way through the scan process. It is a raw scan.
