old BOOTS Marked Brass Handle Knife made from Bayonet

This is a very nice old knife that has been made from a bayonet. The knife is 15 1/4" long with a 10 1/2" blade that is in very nice shape. The bayonet is marked on the ricasso with an H and an the cross-guard is marked with a BL on each side an the is also a C on one side and an H on the other. The brass handle is also in nice shape but t are scratches and it is marked with BOOTS B.H. . the backside of the handle. T is a scabbard that is also in nice shape but it is about 1/8" too short. The scabbard is leather and has also been cut-down from a larger scabbard. I prefer PAYPAL but will accept cashier's check or money order. Item to be shipped U.S. Mail. REFUNDS--Every effort is made to describe items accurately. Items broken in transit by the USPS will be replaced or refunded only if insurance is purchased. Cost of insurance is $1.65 or more (depending on the amount of coverage). Most of my items are of a vintage age and could have minor flaws that would have been normal in that era of manufacturing. If item is in "perfect" condition "still in box" these things will be noted as such. All items are packaged in quality boxes using cushioned paper and bubblewrap or in bubble envelopes if size warrants. Refunds will be given if item has been grossly misrepresented. This should be conveyed to me when item is received. If item is returned in original box with all packing materials refund will be given to include shipping.
