This auction is for what is believed to be a Vintage Brass Fireman's Helmet Hook. It was purchased years ago at an auction near New York City so unsure if it came from a FDNY Firehouse or NYPD Police Station.

It is heavy solid brass and quite old. The number 2015 is recessed and appears to be enameled black which we think may be a badge or shield number. It measures approx. 7" long x 3 1/2" wide. It has some wear commensurate with age and has not been cleaned. My belief is that it is for Turnout Gear or Police Uniform.
