Up for auction is an old Brass Ships Bell with nautical attachments and chain- the Bell itself has a bottom diameter of just over 4", and stands 7" tall to the top of the ring - on the side are the Latin words QUI ME TANGIT VOCEM MEAM AUDI, which according to my 5 years of high school Latin translates to something like WHOEVER TOUCHES ME HEARS MY VOICE - this bell is not new, and likely dates to the 1930's to 1950's or perhaps earlier - it's in excellent condition without damage and is cast in thick brass - no dents - has it's original brass striker - be sure to see our pictures of this special bell, and also be sure to view our other exciting items currently up for auction on eBay - use it as a house decoration, or on a boat or ship!
